Synopsis

Dahmer was a monster. But he wasn’t the only one. Dahmer—also known as the Milwaukee Cannibal—was a serial killer who brutally murdered and dismembered thirteen men between 1978 and 1991. His murders were not random acts of violence; rather, they were carefully planned and meticulously executed by someone who knew exactly what he wanted to do. And yet, Dahmer was able to continue his murderous spree for over a decade in plain sight—not only because of his own lack of moral compass but also because of systemic failures by local law enforcement officials and other authorities who chose not to intervene or report Dahmer’s crimes for fear of being ostracized for doing so. This series examines the gruesome and horrific true crimes of Jeffrey Dahmer and the systemic failures that enabled one of America’s most notorious serial killers to continue his murderous spree in plain sight for over a decade.
