Black Mirror is an anthology series created by Charlie Brooker. What We Know So Far
This season was originally slated to be a sequel to the third season (on Netflix) titled “Bandersnatch” which explored the concept of branching storylines and alternate realities. However, it appears that the showrunners decided to change the direction and go with a new story that would bring new viewers in, but still provide a satisfying conclusion for the people who’ve been following the show since the beginning. This is why “Bandersnatch” has been postponed to be the first episode of season 6. It makes sense because there was a lot of build-up with the fifth season, and it would make sense to release the conclusion to that mystery as soon as possible. It also appears that this season will be a mix of standalone episodes and episodes that explore the storyline of Season 5.

This would make sense since the fifth season had an episode titled “Black Museum” that explored a museum that featured robots that served as reminders for society’s worst impulses. The museum that served as the setting for this episode explored the dark impulses that society has explored in the past with different robots. The episode explored how far people will go to be famous and how it ends up destroying people. It seems that this episode explored how society’s worst impulses could end up influencing the creation of artificial intelligence. It is possible that the creation of the AI Kay was influenced by this episode and it would make sense for the creators to explore this direction since the fifth season already explored the subjects in this episode.
Crocodile Episode
The episode explored the concept of a dating app that makes it possible for people to break up with their partners by simply pressing a button. It explored the consequences of such a decision. It is possible that the creators would explore this episode again since the fifth season has already explored the consequences of such an app and the idea of artificial intelligence controlling such an app would make sense for the sixth season.

The episode explored a world where people use technology to experience everything as if it’s real. It is possible that the creators would explore this episode again with the presence of artificial intelligence.
