Han Yi Han was a highly skilled and renowned surgeon, who graduated at the top of his class from South Korea’s best medical school. He specialized in two areas of medicine: general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery. Despite his expertise, a fateful surgery changed his life forever. Despite his belief that he had performed the surgery to the best of his ability, the patient, unfortunately, passed away. This resulted in Han Yi Han having his medical license revoked.

Five years have passed since then, and Han Yi Han has since changed careers. He now works as a lawyer, specializing in medical litigation. He is dedicated to uncovering the truth behind the death of his former patient and uses his knowledge of medicine to defend victims of medical malpractice and negligence. Working alongside a public prosecutor, who had lost a loved one due to a medical procedure that Han Yi Han had performed, the two strive to ensure that justice is served in the medical industry. Through his work, Han Yi Han hopes to bring about a better, safer, and more responsible medical system, and to prevent future cases of medical malpractice from occurring.
